Y U MAD THO of the Day: Following a Friday night football game between two rival high schools in Ohio, the winning team taunted the losers with a sign that the head of a local NAACP chapter believes was racially-charged.

The inscription? “You Mad Bro.”

“I think the reference to ‘bro’ in the sign definitely has a racial connection to it,” Painesville City Schools superintendent Michael Hanlon told Fox 8 News.

Reporter Emily Valdez donned an ultra-thick steamer and waded through the large intestines of the Internet to determine the true meaning of the phrase: “According to the Urban Dictionary, which is basically the online Wikipedia of slang, the phrase ‘you mad bro?’ means ‘To make a ragin [sic] person rage even more by asking the most ironic question’.”

So, to all the people who thought the sign was a form of racial intimidation: You mad bro?
